First Grade Math Game Night!

Thank you so much to all of the first graders and their families who came to our First Grade Math Game Night and for making it such a huge success!  We had such a great time playing math games with all of you and hope that you enjoy playing the math games at home too!  Here are some photos from the event:

Pig Compliment Celebration!

I'm so proud of our first graders for earning all of their Pig Compliments!  The students and I decided to honor the accomplishment with a Pajama Party and to watch Charlotte's Web!  The students loved reading E.B. White's classic and had a great time comparing the movie to the book.  The students also brought in their favorite stuffed animals to help them celebrate!  We had such a fun day together!  Here are a few pictures from our day together:

Excited Young Scientists Observing Worms!

As part of our Plants Science Unit we studied worms and what an important role they play in keeping plants healthy.  We had an excellent time observing worms!  I hope you all enjoy these pictures!
