Way to Play!

Once again, the students have earned a "Way to Play" award for excellent Recess Behavior for the month of March!  I am so proud of the students for playing so nicely out on the playground.  To celebrate this accomplishment, I gave the student's some extra time outside!  We had a fantastic time doing Math Jump Start with Mr. Bentely and really liked doing the Lightning Round! After Jump Start, the students also got some extra time to play together out on the playground!  We hope you have as much fun looking at the pictures as we did playing together!

Science Experiment - Oobleck!

We had a great time doing our Science Experiment!  This week we made Oobleck in honor of our States of Matter Science Unit and our Dr. Seuss Author Study.  The students did a wonderful job creating a hypothesis about what they thought Oobleck would look and feel like.  They explored their Oobleck and then wrote their observations in their Oobleck Journals.  The students also drew pictures and came up with adjectives to describe their Oobleck.  It was so much fun!  We can't wait to make Slime next week and compare the similarities and differences between the two!
