I'm so proud of our First Graders for, once again, earning all of their Class Pig Compliments! To honor this great accomplishment and in the spirit of this month's Dr. Seuss Author Study, we celebrated with The Lorax! We read Dr. Seuss' The Lorax and watched The Lorax movie. The students loved eating their special treats: Lorax Snack Mix and Truffula Tree inspired Rainbow Sherbet! The Lorax Snack Mix contained the following ingredients - Pretzel Sticks for Truffula Tree trunks, Chocolate Teddy Grahams for Brown Barbaloots, Goldfish Crackers for Humming-Fish, Speckled Malt Eggs for Swami-Swan eggs, and mini marshmallows for celebrating. It was another fantastic day in First Grade! Hope you enjoy looking at the pictures from our day together.
